Would you know what to do if you or a mate had a crash? This essential first aid course is designed specifically for motorbike riders, covering critical skills that could save a life.


What You'll Learn:

  • Effective methods of communication

  • Planning for both group and individual rides

  • Preparing before you ride - is your gear ready to go?

  • Major Bleeding Control – Stopping severe bleeding quickly and effectively

  • Triage of Casualties – Prioritising injuries at the scene of an accident

  • Helmet Removal – When and how to safely remove a helmet in an emergency.


This course is delivered by Jenna and her husband Ryan. 

Jenna is an experienced motorbike rider with more than 32 years experience and a military background. She understands the real risks riders face and teaches practical, lifesaving skills that can make a critical difference in an emergency.

Ryan brings over 12 years of riding experience, along with firsthand insight form his involvement in CFS and attending motorcycle crashes as a first responder.

Course Delivery

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face face-to-face contact time of at least 2 Hours

Must hold a valid HLTAID012 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 CPR certificate.


HLTAID009 and HLTAID012 courses will be run on the same day prior to the motorcycle first aid class for those who need recertificating. 

This certificate does not require renewal
